Sonia Joshi – Periodontist

Dr Sonia Sinha Joshi qualified from Guy’s King’s and St Thomas’ Dental Institute in 2002. She graduated with distinction and numerous prizes includ-ing those for Restorative Dentistry and Periodontology.

She was nominated for the prestigious Univer-sity of London Gold Medal. After com-pleting a residency in Oral Surgery and Restorative Dentistry, Sonia entered General Practice where she continued to develop her interest in Periodontol-ogy and gained Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons, Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Sonia completed the MSc in Periodontology from King’s College London and gained the Clinical Fellowship award from the British Society of Periodontology for excellence with in her field. She has published several articles and has pre-sented her work nationally.

At present, Sonia works in Private Practice where her main interest and focus lies within the diagnosis and management of periodontal conditions.
