Watford Dentist tells the Americans how to do it!
A Watford Dentist is set to take the reigns of a national dental organisation this week. David Bloom, a dentist at Senova Dental Studios (www.senovadental.com) in Leavesden Road, Watford, is to be confirmed in the role of President of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentists (BACD), at the Academy's Annual Conference and AGM in London this Thursday, 15 November.
A Watford dentist is to become one of the very few British dentists ever to address a prestigious American conference this week.
David Bloom of Senova Dental Studios on Leavesden Road in Watford, has been invited to address the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentists (AACD) 23rd Annual Conference in Atlanta, Georgia, the world's largest continuing education programme for cosmetic dentists, taking place 15-19 May.
Dr Bloom will be speaking to the AACD on Visual Diagnostic Try-Ins, a new technique being used by the top dentists to give patients a feel for how their teeth could look after treatment by using a moulded version of their improved smile that fits over their current teeth. This gives a much more realistic idea of final results than using a computer image.
The AACD is the world's largest international dental organisation dedicated to advancing excellence in cosmetic dentistry. David Bloom is an active member of the Academy as well as being President-Elect of the British equivalent, the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr Bloom will also be speaking later this month at one of the most important UK dental events, the Annual Conference of the British Dental Association (BDA) in Harrogate, where he will be talking about the importance to dentists of building a portfolio, to illustrate their work to prospective patients.
David Bloom said he hoped to communicate a very important message to both audiences:
